The Books about Max Mendelson's adventures

The books about Max Mendelson and his best friend Sissela are a series of books about their adventures that start during the summer holiday. All the books have been illustrated by JoAnne Salmon, a very talented illustrator that has captured the people and the enviroment in a wonderful way. Some of the 3D images and almost photo realistic images on this web site will only be found in the second book, not the first one The 3D images are made by myself.

Max Mendelson & The Hiding Place




In the first book, Max finds a secret hiding place up in a gully in the woods. He finds a hatch on a gully slope that heavy rain and snow melting has excavated. Max finds a 15 m long corridor and a triangular shaped room inside. Someone is talking to him with his mothers voice in his dreams and soon Max and Sissela finds out that the secret hiding place is something totally different from what they first believed it to be. Something have been buried beneath the ground for a hundred thousand years.

Max Mendelson - Hunted




In the second book, Max is hunted by the military, federal police, foreign agents and treasure hunters that hope to get their hands on the spaceship and the technology. Max and Sissela have to escape and go underground. They are helped by Affe, a good friend och Sissela's mother. Max will, for the first time, see the large moon sized mothership up close. Some of the secrets about the small explorer space & planetary vessel Sendoine, the eight explorer robots and the large mothership is revealed.

In the third book, that is currently in writing, the mystery is growing. How old is Maho and where do they come from? Are there more Sendoine explorers or other exciting things onboard Maho?
